“Conception” on Prestige 7013
This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove pressing of “Conception” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7013. The flat-rim playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th cover is also in amazing condition – bright and clean throughout – with just slight rubbing along the left edge of the back slick. Original glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Lee Konitz, Walter Bishop, and Art Blakey. This is the first compilation of early tracks from the Prestige 1950/51 catalogue.
