For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "Wish you were here" album. Comes with all the attributes of an original first UK pressing.
Matrices are the very earliest UK pressing. A1 / B3. Mother / stampers are   3 / RGP   &   2 / GMM. Very early in the production run. Outer cover is still enclosed in the original shrink-wrap, which covers around 97% of the cover. The inner sleeve has 3 cropped corners. Shine on you crazy diamond (part 5) is credited to Waters-Gilmour-Wright.
Also included in the sale is a totally original tour programme from 1974 (in comic book style). This programme is in fabulous condition for its age. Fully intact with only some light age discolouration and a light corner crease worthy of mention. A rare item in itself. The original crinkle edged "diving man" postcard is present and in excellent shape. The DVD includes rare live footage, interviews and critical reviews. In excellent condition. 2 additional postcards are included (shown in the photos). These are pristine. Finally, a coaster depicting the iconic burning man handshake image. Pristine.
The cover grades excellent. Black shrink is almost whole. Inner sleeve grades as very good plus, as a slit is forming to the bottom edge from being cut by the disc (now housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve), and some odd light creasing.  The vinyl visually is really excellent. In harsh strong electric lighting there are no marks of concern. There are the usual wispy sleeve removal traces (damn those cardboard inner sleeves. Why on earth did they do that?).  The album has been FULLY play-graded and sits totally flat to the platter.  Side 1. Great quiet start. The whole side plays supremely well. I can only imagine it would be nigh on perfect after cleaning. Side 2. In my notebook my only comments were 2 seconds (yes, 2!) of light background noise right at the start. A hint of light background on the intro to "Wish you were here". Otherwise brilliant throughout. Very hard to find a pressing as quiet as this one. They were so prone to surface noise. Mass produced in huge numbers after the success of "Dark side", quality went out of the window a little. Quantity over quality. Not this one! Certainly a top top copy that will never require upgrading in my view. As a play- grade, I have no hesitation in giving it my highest grade for a used album. That is, excellent plus for side one and excellent for side two.
As a complete and original first UK pressing with the A1 and B3 matrix numbers, black shrink-wrapped cover, and original postcard, I really have to grade overall as a very strong excellent. The original 1974 tour programme is a huge bonus and the additional items included make a great album package even better. One NOT to be missed.
I will post overseas, although not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. I have listed the price for UK postage only. As a rough guideline, postage within the EU is around £16. Worldwide is around £25. If it works out to be less, I refund the difference immediately. I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway.  I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
If you have any questions,  or require extra photos, please just ask. Album will be posted same day I receive the funds if early enough, or at worst the next day.
Good luck if you decide to bid. The winner will not be disappointed.
