This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Johnny Griffin “Introducing” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1533. The flat rim playing surface is in virtually new condition, with an amazing luster; perhaps played once. Similarly, the coated frame cover is in extraordinary condition – bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect – with sharp corners and unworn seams; very slight ding at the lower right corner. Personnel include Wynton Kelly, Curly Russell, and Max Roach. $2500.00.
