I’m a retired jazz musician, and will be selling a bunch of my old jazz records over the next month or so. Please note I am unable to meet in person - all records will be carefully packed and shipped. I tend to grade conservatively, and am easy to deal with if a return is needed.
John Coltrane “Impressions,” Impulse A-42 mono vinyl LP. This is the first pressing from 1963.
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, etched / stamped): A-42.A LW VAN GELDER
Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, etched / stamped): A-42.B LW VAN GELDER
Sleeve: G+ with water damage. Gatefold. Presents surprisingly well only because of how outstanding these old Impulse sleeves were. Includes modern protective inner sleeve.
Vinyl: plays VG+. A very enjoyable, vibrant listen. Visually VG due to a lot of superficial but inaudible wear.
