I’m a retired jazz musician, and will be selling a bunch of my old jazz records over the next month or so. Please note I am unable to meet in person - all records will be carefully packed and shipped. I tend to grade conservatively, and am easy to deal with if a return is needed.
Sam Rivers “Contours,” Blue Note 4206 mono vinyl LP. This is the first pressing from 1967, with “VAN GELDER” and “NEW YORK USA” on both sides.
Sleeve: VG with light wear and creases, water damage to lower corner. Still looks great. Includes original promotional inner sleeve, as well as a modern protective inner sleeve.
Vinyl: strong EX, bordering on NM-. Outstanding listen. Looks clean and glossy. Tight spindle hole. Low mileage, only ever played maybe 5 times.
