Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Gemini IV: Walk In Space/Gemini V: Eight Days In Space" - featuring the voices of astronauts and ground support on the Hanna/Barbera "Cartoon Series" Records label (HLP 2034), in beautiful original sound, issued in 1965.
CONDITION: JACKET - VG+(Jacket has moderate overall, edge, ring and corner wear, with a split across 2" of the top seam - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - VG+(Vinyl has few light scuffs and plays wonderfully with no skips and great sound - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Fantastically wonderful record from one of the most-loved eras of American History - the '60s Space Program; gatefold cover features spectacular cover paintings of the Gemini capsules in flight; interior of the gatefold is filled with information and lovely drawings of the four astronauts; very rare record from the short-lived Hanna/Barbera "Real Life Documentary Edition" series; if you enjoy music that comes from the very heart of the Sixties Space Program, then please don't miss this one.
TRACKS: Each of the two sides covers the entire mission designated: Side 1 is Gemini IV: Walk In Space; Side 2 is Gemini V: Eight Days In Space. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck.
OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
