Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition Mercury Living Presence STEREO album (serial number SR 90011) issue and a FIRST PRESSING album featuring a brilliant and dynamic recording of the "Eroica" Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Opus 55 composed by LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN which is performed by conductor ANTAL DORATI and the MINNEAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. The LP is a 1959 pressing on the Mercury Living Presence label with the serial number SR 90011, is a STEREO issue and 1st PRESSING with a full color back surface and was made in The United States.
This record is in excellent condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) condition and should play beautifully, with a few light paper scuffs on the surfaces that should not significantly affect play but no other significant imperfections; the cover is in VG++ overall condition with a beautiful laminated front surface, slight discoloration on the bottom edge of the back surface with very slight wrinkling of the bottom right of the front surface and bottom left of the back surface, a 1 inch clean split on the lower opening edge and 1/2 inch clean split on the upper opening edge, a tiny abrasion on the upper center edge and just light shelfwear on the back surface but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout!
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
