Joy Division Unknown Pleasures.

12" LP Album with textured sleeve and inner picture sleeve, all original from 1979.
 FIRST UK Pressing. "This is the way" hand etched in dead wax on Side 2 . Also a "Porky Prime cut"

This disc is a translucent purple/red when held up to a strong light - very collectable and the true mark of a genuine first pressing.
I am not a dealer, this is part of my own personal collection which I am disposing of. 
The cover has a few signs of wear highlighted in the photos.
Vinyl grading is Excellent according to the Record Collector Grading System. It appears barely, if at all, played.
There is the odd hairline and the run-on  has a little debris (I think it is hardened gum from the manufacturing process ) and a white mark near the and of "she's lost control", neither of which have any noticeable audio impact. I assume these are from storage in the original card inner.

 I have been as critical as I can with this item description so that the potential buyer has all the information.

Test played superbly with superb audio - a fantastic record to play with amazing audio and low overall background noise.
 I played it before listing it on ebay on a Sherwood PS1870 turntable and headphones.   There were no skips or any other undesirable  issues - there are the usual slight surface noise effects that we expect with vinyl but nothing that detracts from the listening experience. I only notice the vinyl difference now that I am more used to listening to CDs or MP3s. Before listing it I probably hadn't played it for 20-25 years or more!
