Very nice copy of the rare Columbia UK mono LP, 33CX 1407, Schumann Cello Concerto in A minor, Tchaikovsky Variations on a Rococo Theme, Pierre Fournier, cello, with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. Original Blue and Gold label, XAX 941-1N/XAX 942-3N matrix numbers.
Fully-laminated, scallop-flipback sleeve has light edge creases and ringwear, some laminate loss and lift at the opening edge and tape residue on the top flipback on the back. Still excellent colour and structure, and the sleeve grades VG-.
Vinyl is extremely clean and shiny, and flat, with no warp, a very well looked after example, with no noticeable marks. There are a few light clicks on playing, but these are occasional and do not detract from the superb mono sound exhibited on this fabulous copy. Overall, vinyl grades Near Mint visually, and EX+ playgrade.
