CECIL TAYLOR “Conquistador” RVG, Blue Note BST 84260 Stereo Vinyl This is 1967, first edition, “AUDITION COPY,” “Van Gelder” stamped pressing of CECIL TAYLOR’s “Conquistador” on the "Division of Liberty” labels of Blue Note BST 84260. Musicians include Cecil Taylor, Bill Dixon, Jimmy Lyons, Henry Grimes, Alan Silva, Andrew Cyrille. VINYL plays beautifully, clean, with occasional pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very clear, dynamic and strong. No distortion. No skips. Very Good gloss. Vinyl clean. The “Division of Liberty” labels are clean. Original inner sleeve included. See photos. COVER is in good shape. Ringwear present, fading. Corners worn. Seams and spine show cracking, no splits. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 1776 Broadway, New York” back jacket shows wear, “AUDITION COPY.” Please see photos.     This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system.
