SONNY ROLLINS “Newk’s Time” Blue Note RVG, DG, P, LAM, BLP 4001 mono Vinyl This is “RVG” stamped, Deep Groove, Laminated Cover, “P” pressing of SONNY ROLLINS’ “Newk’s Time” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 4001. Musicians include Sonny Rollins – tenor saxophone, Wynton Kelly – piano, Doug Watkins – bass, Philly Joe Jones – drums. VINYL plays with light to medium to infrequently loud surface noise (i.e, crackle, static, 静的 or うるさい, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with pops and ticks. But Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong with clean transients and full tone. Plays well overall. No distortion. No skips. Good gloss. Many hairline marks, handful feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels are clean with spindle marks under direct light. See photos. LAMINATED COVER is in good shape. Large lower right corner wrinkle. Shows normal wear, corners worn. Laminate in good shape. Couple bare spots on cover.
