HANK MOBLEY "Roll Call" P, RVG, DG, Blue Note 4058 Mono Vinyl This is the 1960, first issue, RVG-stamped, Deep Groove, Laminated Cover, "P" pressing of HANK MOBLEY's "Roll Call" on the "47 West 63rd" labels of Blue Note BLP 4058. Musicians include Hank Mobley - tenor saxophone, Freddie Hubbard - trumpet, Wynton Kelly - piano, Paul Chambers - bass, Art Blakey - drums. VINYL plays with consistent medium level surface noise, with pops and ticks. Many hairline marks, quite a few feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it.) Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No Skips. No locked grooves. Decent gloss. The Deep Groove "47 West 63rd" labels are mostly clean, with many visible spindle marks under direct light. See photos. LAMINATED COVER is in very good shape, Corners worn. Seams and spine clean. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, INC, 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows minor wear, marker writing, minor stains. Please see photos. This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system.
