LOU DONALDSON “Wailing With Lou” RVG, P, FR, DG, Blue Note 1545 Mono Vinyl This is the first edition, 1957, Flat Rim, “RVG” etched, Deep Groove, P-pressing of LOU DONALDSON’s “Wailing With Lou” on the "47 West 63rd  New York 23” labels of Blue Note BLP 1545.  Musicians include Lou Donaldson - alto saxophone, Donald Byrd – trumpet, Herman Foster – piano, Peck Morrison – bass, Art Taylor – drums. Deep Groove VINYL plays with consistent medium to loud level surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, 静的,うるさい,relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with pops and ticks, some loud. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Weak gloss. Many hairline marks, handful feelable. The Flat Rim, Deep Groove “47 West 63rd” labels show wear, spindle marks. See photos. COVER is in Good shape, corner cut, corners worn. Seams good with cracking, 1” split lower seam.
