VERY RARE SIGNED COPY OF THIS ORIGINAL GLENN GOULD LP, "TO RICHARD ?ARLWICH (LAST NAME UNCLEAR) BEST WISHES MAR. 57". VERY NICE SIGNATURE APPROPRIATE TO THE OTHER SIGNATURES OF THE PERIOD. THIS SIGNATURE IS THE EARLIEST EXAMPLE I COULD FIND ON AN LP, MAKING IT A VERY RARE PIECE. IT IS ALSO ON HIS FIRST AND MOST FAMOUS LP. I COULD FIND ONLY ONE OTHER SOLD EXAMPLE (ON THE TOP OF POPSIKE'S MOST VALUABLE AUCTION RESULTS, DATED BY MR. GOULD IN 1961, THERE IS ALSO A CURRENT LISTING OF THE LP WHICH IS JUST A FAINT SIGNATURE). THE SIGNATURE IS A LITTLE OBSCURED BY THE PRINT ON THE ALBUM, BUT STILL VERY READABLE, THE INK IS VERY OLD AND APPEARS TO BE WRITTEN WITH AN OLD STYLE FOUNTAIN PEN (SEE PHOTOS). THERE IS A LITTLE FADING MOSTLY TO THE LAST NAME OF THE REQUESTOR. THE LP WAS ACQUIRED BY MYSELF MANY YEARS AGO IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, AND WAS MOST LIKELY FROM THE STAY MR. GOULD MADE WHEN A CONCERT WAS GIVEN IN PASADENA IN MARCH 1957, ALTHOUGH THIS IS JUST SPECULATION ON MY PART. PLEASE READ CONDITION OF COVER AND VINYL BELOW. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEO CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING.                                                                                                                                                                                             A NOTE ON SKIPS AND WARPS: THIS LP WAS CHECKED FOR SKIPS AND WARPS, THERE ARE NONE.
