Black & Blue Records (33.744) 1986 France pressing LP release from SON THOMAS titled GOOD MORNING SCHOOL GIRL.

James "Son" Thomas (October 14, 1926 – June 26, 1993) was a Delta Blues musician, gravedigger and sculptor from Leland Mississippi.  One of the last great traditional Delta blues musicians, he grew up on a farm in Mississippi and played in juke joints and barrelhouses before he began recording in the late '60s.

Nice recording featuring the artist and his acoustic guitar.  Beautiful sound with a lot of air. 

Great player with VG+ vinyl.  Clean labels and a lot of luster with just a few light micro-scratches and small sleeve scuffs.  VG jacket - no cut-outs or seam splits but there is obvious shelf and ring wear. 

It is signed by the artist in Black ballpoint which is the highlight of the auction offering.  Delta Blues musicians signatures are not plentiful and typically highly sought after.
