Very cool original Mono 1960 first pressing on the Crown label. These early Crown pressings are of much higher quality than their later issues with the "Full Color" on the front cover that crops the graphics used on the originals. The later pressings also have no liner notes (just a catalog) on the back and have the lowest quality recycled vinyl (often with fake stereo). These early originals have better vinyl (still, not top quality) but have beautiful period cover designs. The Blues features some of John Lee's best tracks and has a way cool cover with deep colors and a classy look. Some slight ring wear on the front cover and the bad news is that the cover is split on three sides and only the bottom is intact. This will come in a new mylar resealable sleeve so you should be able to live with it. The back cover is exceptionally clean with deep white whites. This sleeve looks like it has been in a plastic protective sleeve for its lifetime with a nice look. The vinyl is in really nice with only a few light spindle marks. This record has been barely played and better than 99% of the copies you are going to find. There is some slight "bubbles" in the pressing that are common on their vinyl. Keep in mind that Crown is not known for its great pressings, but this is about as good as it gets. Check my feedback for great service and strict grading of high quality vinyl. This has been cleaned on a pro VPI 17F record cleaning machine which vastly lowers the noise floor and improves the sound of any record dramatically. While eBay requires us to post Media Mail at $4 I highly encourage any US buyer to pay $6 extra and use Priority Mail as it is a much faster service and records get much better treatment during shipping. Media Mail can also be very slow at times (up to two weeks) while Priority Mail is 2-3 days anywhere in the US.  No hassle return policy.
