This auction is for a Vintage 1983 Talking Heads Speaking in Tongues RARE Clear Vinyl Record. It is in original plastic case. The case has some cracks and scratches in it. Cracks are on the edges. It has either yellowed from age or it was not clear to begin with. Inside the case are three plastic discs. Two are attached to the inside of the case and the other floats between the record and the other disc. They turn to create the artwork by Robert Rauschenberg. The packaging, designed by Robert Rauschenberg, is a transparent plastic case with artwork and credits printed on 3 12" circular transparent collages, one per primary color. Basic tracks recorded at Blank Tapes, NY.
Final overdubbing and mixing at Compass Point Studios and Sigma Sound, NY.
Originally Mastered at Sterling Sound, NY.

Limited edition of 50,000. Clear vinyl. 
The record itself measures 12" across. I am not sure what speed it plays at.

I do not know how to rate or grade records so I am describing the item as it sits before me. I do not have a record player so I cannot verify that it will play and whether or not it skips. So bid knowing this.

Record has some light scratches and marks. It is clear vinyl with a pink label on Side A and a blue label on Side B.
