Strong VG Mono Joe Henderson, Our Thing, Blue Note BLP 4152. Solid Mono 2nd pressing (ca. mid-1960s) of this hard to find Henderson LP featuring “Van Gelder” stamped into run-out grooves. Side 1 label reads “Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA” and Side 2 label reads “Blue Note Records A Division of Liberty Records, Inc.”
Vinyl: VG. Vinyl has visible cosmetic scratches and smudges but none of these affect play. Most of the LP sounds VG+. No skips, pops, or clicks. Some background noise in quieter passages, but this is minimal and never overtakes strong and clear RVG sound. Side 1 label bright and clear, Side 2 label has some foxing but nothing of significance. Great daily use copy that would benefit from a good cleaning. See photos for details.
Cover: VG-. Cover is intact and retains original bright matte finishing with some foxing toward top and bottom. Back cover shows its age with some foxing and smudging, and handwritten messages by previous owner(s) in pen. Spine has some tears, and there is a six-inch seam split along top of LP cover. Otherwise, cover is structurally sound and solidly intact. See photos for details.
LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
