I have come across a collection of records that defy time.

They belonged to a collector who was buying in the mid to late 60's through the 70's and 80's

However his family have said that he didn't own a record player until the mid 80's.

Very strange I know, but what it means is that the early records have in most cases never been played or at the most one play.

Naturally people's tastes in music change and that's why the 80's albums have had more play than the 60's

There are some incredible records in this collection

I aim to release one per day and will list them at 8pm UK time so that they don't get confused with my other listings

I will also be playing each record and recording IT. My very very careful test play will go undetected however

THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE PICTURE  LABELS ARE IN MINT CONDITION. A SOLID BASE COLOUR THAT IS FREE FROM ANY MARKS OR STAINS. THE BLACK TYPEFACE AND LOGO'S ARE ALL UNRUBBED AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE.

THE SPINDLE HOLE IS TOTALLY UNWORN AND THERE ARE ONLY 2-3 TINY SPIDER LINES AROUND THE HOLE SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN NEAR A TURNTABLE.

THE VINYL

THE VINYL ABSOLUTELY GLEAMS LIKE A POLISHED MIRROR.

THE SHEEN IS FLAWLESS AND IN DAYLIGHT IT IS TOTALLY MINT, AND EVEN WHEN PLACED UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE APART FROM A COUPLE OF WISPY HAIRLINES.

THE TEST PLAY

THE LP PLAYS THROUGH PERFECTLY ON BOTH SIDES

THE VINYL PLAYS WITHOUT ANY DISTORTION TO THE SOUND WHATSOEVER.

THERE IS NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE AND CERTAINLY NO LOUD CLICKS ANYWHERE

THERE ARE SO MANY QUIET PASSAGES ON THIS ALBUM THAT TO FIND ONE THAT DOESN'T PLAY WITH CRACKLE, CLICKS AND POPS IS A REAL RARITY

THERE IS NO EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE ANYWHERE, AND INCREDIBLY ONLY THE ODD SPLIT SECOND OF BARELY AUDIBLE STATIC ON SIDE A, WITH A LITTLE MORE IN TRACK TWO SIDE b

I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GRADE THIS PLAYTHROUGH AS NEAR MINT

PLEASE DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, TAKE A GOOD LISTEN AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF
