DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- 1st self titled. 1st UK pressing with uncorrected A1/B1 matrix, plum/red labels, silver strip on sleeve and superhype credits. This was my own copy until a very recent upgrade. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588171 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/G+ Vinyl is clean but with a lot of hairlines , scuffs and some feelable surface lines. If i had a supersensitive/expensive sound system i wouldnt buy this. I bought this off ebay with the vinyl graded as VG- but thats not how i wwould grade it. Just bear n mind that thats how it was graded on here. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Generally sounds VG but it does have ticks and occasionaly clicks in some quiet passages. The music generally remains loud and prominent. It does have one split second skip towards the end of track 1 side 2. Cover is firm and square and has moderate to heavy edgewear (1" split to spine or would probably grade low-end VG) , cornerwear and creasing. Side 1 of labels has a few scratches to it- see photo. . No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
