START ALL OVER AGAIN
It’s a classic good news, bad news situation. Here’s the super rare, never-turns-up high singing modern soul single “Start All Over Again” on Skyhigh Records. It’s even a test pressing, probably one of less than ten that were pressed up. The bad news is that it’s got a little edge warp and water damaged labels.
Still, it does play most of the way thru flawlessly after the first bit. How much is damaged?
It picks up just before the start of the first chorus and plays 2:52 of “Start All Over Again” nearly like new. On the other side it is similar with just before the chorus “What did you hope to find…. “ leaving it to play 3:23 of “Strangers Eyes.”
This is a rarely seen Dallas area soul item and sells at $200+ when nice. How about this one? Well, we will start low and see if it finds a new home.
