In 2004, the TV anime series "Samurai Champloo," directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, took the world by storm. This groundbreaking series blended historical drama with Hip Hop elements, captivating not only anime enthusiasts but also Hip Hop aficionados. Even today, it continues to receive high praise both in Japan and abroad for its innovative visuals and music.

Shinichiro Watanabe, known for his deep appreciation of music, carefully curated a stellar lineup of artists for this series. Among them are:

Nujabes: A legendary producer known for his lo-fi Hip Hop sound, Nujabes left an indelible mark on the scene and continues to inspire artists worldwide.
fat jon: A prolific artist who gained recognition with Five Deez, he also released solo albums produced by Nujabes.
FORCE OF NATURE: The dynamic duo of KZA and DJ KENT, known for their remixes and contributions to the global club scene.
TSUTCHIE: A prominent figure in the early days of Japanese Hip Hop, he has been a leading producer for SHAKKAZOMBIE and beyond.
The tracks they created for "Samurai Champloo" were originally released as four CDs titled "Departure," "masta," "impression," and "playlist" in 2004, achieving massive success.

Now, after 18 years, these four iconic albums are being reissued on vinyl. "Departure" and "masta" are set for release on April 27th, followed by "impression" and "playlist" on May 18th. This marks the first-ever vinyl release for each title.
