Joe Soap LP - Keep It Clean - rare 1973 UK album with a Thunderclap Newman,ELO,Fotheringay connection,Polydor 2383 233 SUPER,1st pressing,matrix endings A//2;B//2 front laminated cover.
10 original tracks by Joe Soap..
Cover - in excellent condition overall, the spine and top edge is perfect, bottom edge has one tiny spot, the open edges have very mild wear. The front panel has an impression of two straight lines across and one vertical otherwise both have nothing more than a few light short creases and small insignificant marks with very mild storage4 wear.Supplied in new poly-lined inner, the original is also included.
The LP is very good overall, side 1 has a surface covered with a crazed pattern impressed by years of storage in a poly-lined inner, this seems to have imported a light surface noise detectable in the run ins/outs,track breaks and carrying on into the first half of tracks 2 and 4,elsewhere there is a suspicion of it.There are no other faults of any note on either side and the music plays with great punch and clarity.Side 2 is unaffected by the inner, the appearance is bright fresh and free from obvious blemishes.Labels on side 1 has a small light spot of spindle marking, side 2 perfect.
