Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find original 1973 first pressing on the obscure Zebra label ...Kin Ping Meh is fronted by original member (Geff Harrison) from the legendary 2066 & Then, who made the famously sought album....

KIN PING MEH are not your typical Kraut Rock band. Although they're quite frequently tagged as such, their sound is more akin to hardrock with prog & psych flourishes, or "hard Prog,". KIN PING MEH, whose name was of Chinese origin, was founded in 1970 in Mannheim as a quintet featuring Joachim Schaffer, Werner Stephan, Torsten Herzog, Kalle Weber, and Joachim Schafer. In their early years, KIN PING MEH were discovered by Polydor records, who signed them immediately. Schaffer left before the first album was recorded, but was replaced by Willie Wagner, who wrote perhaps their most famous track, "Fairy Tales." It is definitely a highlight of their recording career. Achim Reichel, Frank Dostal, and the great Konrad Plank worked with KIN PING MEH, engineering and producing some of their work. When vocalist Werner Stephan left in May 1973, it marked the end of Kin Ping Meh's first phase. Gagey Mrozeck recommended Geff Harrison (his old friend from 2066 & Then) as a replacement for Werner Stephan. With this line-up the Kin Ping Meh quintet of Harrison, Mrozeck, Schmitt, Wroe and Weber recorded album '3', in the Summer of 1973. Because of singer Geff Harrison's influence the band developed a hard rock image. "The people mainly want to really rock, to be happy and to get to see something. And that's all true in our case", the band explained in a 1973 "Musik Express" interview and added: "There is not much demand for space and cosmic rock right now." Kin Ping Meh played concerts with hard rock superstars like ...
