OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.
We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

After leaving the Yardbirds in late-1966, Jeff Beck hooked up with popmeister producer Mickie Most and had a little luck with the UK singles chart. By 1968, Beck enlisted vocalist Rod Stewart, bass player Ron Wood, and drummer Mickey Waller. Their debut Truth would would be the of the most consistently satisfying album of Beck's career.
The album kicks off with a reworking of the 1966 Yardbird's hit "Shapes of Things" and from there presents a string of blues-based songs that would become the framework for heavy rock in general and Led Zeppelin in particular. A curve is the inclussion of "Old Man River" from the 1951 musical Show Boat. It may help show us Stewart's range as a vocalist, but it's not much of a showcase for Beck's virtuosity as a guitarslinger. The only other out-of-character tune is Beck's solo rendition of the traditional "Greensleeves." But as he remarks in the liner notes, "Aye that's a lovely 'toon'," and his guitar led reading is a reflective counterpoint to most of the rest of the material contained on the album.
Highlights are all over both sides, including "You Shook Me," "Rock My Plimsoul," "Let Me Love You" and the guitar workout "Beck's Bolero," and the standout track is "I Ain't Superstitious."
"Shapes of Things" 3:22 "Let Me Love You" 4:44 "Morning Dew" 4:40 "You Shook Me" 2:33 "Ol' Man River" 4:01 "Greensleeves" 1:50 "Rock My Plimsoul" 4:13 "Beck's Bolero" 2:54 (Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck) "Blues De Luxe" 7:33 "I Ain't Superstitious" 4:53
