Cliff Jordan - Cliff Craft LP

Blue Note BLP 1582. Blue/White deep groove 47 West 63rd NYC label. Mono. USA 1957.

First pressing. RVG and ear in dead wax but no R on label.
Thick laminated cover with 47 West 63rd St, New York 23 adress at bottom back.
worn rice paper inner sleeve (replaced during shipping with a new polylined sleeve).

                     Graded cover/record G+/VG
Cover is solid and thick with shiny laminated surface on front but,
there are dry remnants of tape at five spots across the spine.
Splits at top seam a bit from opening, likewise at bottom seam which also has a middle split,
that is glued together to hold.
Same at spine which has a glued split and surface wear, but holds together due to the glue.
Labels have some loss of color and surface, probably due to cleaning under water.
Vinyl is shiny but has several surface marks and thin hairline scratches.
However it plays clear and loud, without any noise at most but it has parts with light ticks and crackles.
Heard most on A2, between the tracks on side B and end of B1 and parts of B2.
No loud pops or skips of course.
Art Farmer - trumpet / Clifford Jordan - tenor sax /  Sonny Clark - piano /
George Tucker - bass / Louis Hayes - drums

Tracks - Laconia / Soul-Lo Blues / Cliff Craft /
Confirmation / Sophisticated Lady / Anthropology

Great setting and top fine relaxed hard bop. This is a very rare LP.

POSTAGE RATES AIR MAIL SENT SO IT CAN BE TRACKED:

Rates and exact method of shipping depends on weight and destination.
1 LP will cost about 20$ to most destinations.
At this high value I will send registered so it is insured but to several destinations
this means no detailed tracking between shipping date and delivery.

I will pack well with record out of cover, in plastic sleeve, bubblewrap and in cardboard box.

I grade conservately. First visual but mostly also through listening through.
However grading is a subjective orientation not scientific fact.
