PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. ... 1973 first pressing of the fantastic "Larks Tongue In Aspic" the only Crimson to include Jamie Muir who adds layers of percussion, and tweeky sound effects that give the album an extra edge...plus it doesn't hurt to have the band in top peaking performance...Fripp's guitar work is nothing short of amazing...
LARK TONGUES IN ASPIC opens up as the most creative era of this band. It also differs stylistically from the other major progressive albums of the year 1973, as it is more avant-garde and aggressive than average symphonic prog releases usually are. The opener "Larks' Tongues in Aspic part one" starts with a beautiful long layer of percussions, sound effects, and bells. A very aggressive and powerful riff emerges from this sea of calmness, and two jazzy structured themes follow it. Bill Bruford's drumming accompanied with Jamie Muir's busy percussions are amazing! The composition continues with Cross's solo violin, and he does some patterns from a violin number "Larks' Ascension" which was also an exceptional concert number in the bands repertoire during the bands tours. "Book of Saturday" is a short a beautiful ballad, which has amazing backward guitars from Mr. Fripp! The studio track is muchbetter than what they could evr duplicate in concert ..."Exiles" is also a fine studio track, featuring keys and fun fake fade-out in the end of it. "Easy Money" sporting a very memorable melody incorporates a very rich tapestry of percussions and noises. "The Talking Drum" is an intro for "Larks' Tongues in Aspic part two", and this coupling also developed with a interesting treatment on the stage. The studio version is enhanced to create an interesting fake echo for David's violin solo at the end of "Larks Tongue In Aspect 2". All said a classic masterpiece that no serios progressive collection can be without.
