PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY CELLOPHANE

MINT CLEAN and RARE COLLECTIBLE

Original 1971 first pressing vinyl on the lesser seen (scarce) BIZARRE Records label....
This is the thicker grainy matte cover and NOT the slick finish (normal) cover....
HARD TO FIND the actual FIRST PRINT on BIZARRE RECORDS LABEL ...issued just before the standard TAN COLOR Warner Brothers label issue in 1971, finds the MOTHERS in their peak lunacy! ...
IF you don't have the Mothers # Fillmore on vinyl then you don't have it complete, as the cd (compact disc) sadly omits "Willie The Pimp" for whatever reason, but what a mistake in editing by those supposedly in the know. They never are....but here with the 1971 original VINYL you get the whole enchilada...
Incidentally, These MOTHERS were united by voice(s) of THE TURTLES, the cool little L.A. band who sang "Happy Together" in the sixties...
Contains the 'Zappa' original Bizarre Records inner sleeve
1. Little House I Used To Live In - A very great mellow song that has some nice keyboard work. love the tone of Zappa's guitar on this song. The song starts to speed up and then slows into a kind of mariachi rhythm that has some funny singing by the band "La La La". The guitar solo close to the end of the song is excellent. A nice way to open up the album.
2. The Mud Shark - This is a Zappa classic that tells a story of how a band got a groupie to have sex with a mud shark on video tape in the hotelroom of The Edgewater Inn. This actually happened according to Rolling Stone Magazine, only not to a band called The Vanilla Fudge it happened with a little band called Led Zeppelin. The backing vocals are funny and fit the song well.
3. What Kind Of Girl Do You Think We Are? - The song begins with Flo and Eddie of The Turtles singing call and answer in a R&B style. The band is backing with a very Bluesy feel to the song. This is the first and best song dealing with the groupie stories.
4. Bwana Dik - The band gets really heavy in this song but the lyrics are just 'a little' too much after a while. Although it is pretty funny.
5. Latex Solar Beef - This is a pretty funny song that talks about hemmerhoids throughout the song. The playing in the song is also pretty good as well. The bass line just hits you hard throughout the entire song.
6. Willie The Pimp (Part One) - The song starts out continuing the previous song but eventually leads into the famous riff from one of thee favorite Zappa Tunes. This song has a great guitar solo in it.
7. Do You Like My New Car? - This song deals with the groupies. Mostly dialogue which is hilarious. Will not describe the dialouge as it would just ruin it for you. The band kind of plays a soundtrack for the dialogue.
8. Happy Together - A Great Rendition of a Classic Sixties song. The Vocal Harmonies in the song are perfect. They just bring the crowd into an uproar with this number.
9. Lonesome Electric Turkey - The song starts with some very eerie solos by the keyboard that continues for the rest of the song. Frank was trying to have the playing sound like how an electric turkey was supposed to sound like when it was lonesome.
10. Peaches En Regalia - An awesome instrumental song off of Hot Rats that gets better every time you spin it. If you haven't heard this song before then buy Hot Rats because the version on that is much more clearer and will let you appreciate this live version more.
11. Tears Began To Fall - This was Frank Zappa's stab at Pop Music. Even though Frank wasn't famous for this kind of music this really isn't a bad song at all with great guitar accompaniment near the middle of the song. A Great closing song.
