Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. The very first USA Easybeats album is a GREAT solid classic among inspired beatrocker/garage albums... that deliver...
As with anything coming out of the 60's beat/garage barn, the joy is in the attempt. And these Aussies sound downright ecstatic. "River Deep Mountain High" is a prime example, straight off the top. Even though it isn't quite up to the searing level of Eric Burdon & The Animal's version, it's almost hard to tell, as Stevie Wright yelps, squeals, and drives his band towards the finish line on the 'Beats instantly classic, jangly take. "Do You Have a Soul" keeps the tempo up, with those infamous guitars asserting themselves. "Saturday Night" includes nasal background chanting and more chunky FUZZ riffs. While hearing the wicked reverb guitar fragments on "See Line Woman" makes one think a little more effort could have produced a massive show-stopper instead of merely a groovy set-closer. All that said, it's over all a classic mod and psychedelia influenced rocker, one touted as rivals to the Beatles upon its entrance into the music scene. Not as varied as the Beatles but with more focus on the fuzzy guitar work. The title track is the best track and is one of the best rock songs from the sixties ever recorded.
