Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Arthur Lee Harper with Second Coming is the second of three LP's Arthur managed from 1968,1969 & 1975. Clearly 1969's "LOVE IS THE REVOLUTION" is the best of the three, backed by his small back up band "The Second Coming" ...his only LP with some killer rated fuzz guitar. Despite the LP being impossibly rare, there is said to be only 200 copies pressed because Arthur, the wandering hippie couldn't afford to have more copies pressed by the tiny NOCTURNE label, and production was cut short.
"LOVE IS THE REVOLUTION" is more forceful and slightly more rock-oriented than his first LP simply titled "ARTHUR" (on Lee Hazelwood's LHI label) "LOVE IS THE REVOLUTION" a melancholy downer folky melodic album with infectious self composed hippie tunes, hoping for a new day as revealed in some of the lyrics. The high-pitched distorted fuzz guitar on "Annie Moore" is an echo of psychedelic sixties folk in what for the most part is a low-key rock effort.
File along with similar underground folk based rarities like Perry Leopold and other private press gems of the late 60's/early 70's era.
Sadly, Arthur Lee Harper died of a heart attack on January 10th, 2002 the same night his wife was killed in a car accident.

Signed with a note on very slightly aged back cover written by Arthur's hand ...you won't find that, nor a better 1969 original anywhere... still flat, square with 4 sharp corners. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing... The vinyl: Rated: M- clean & shines all over! Noticed audio plays incredible... both Nocture labels match the CLEAN entire package! a terrific 1969 investment item
