EXTREMELY RARE alternate version of THE MOUNTAIN GOATS - Come, Come to the Sunset Tree LP VINYL. Self-released limited edition of 1000 hand-numbered copies (this being the low number of #632/1000) with individually designed, hand-made sleeves featuring home-recorded versions of most of the songs from The Sunset Tree and a few LP-only tracks.
The front and back covers are hand painted and have various stickers applied. The cover is in VG++ (EX) condition with small corner bumps and a light crease. It is a hand painted and decorated piece of art.
The vinyl is in VG++ with white labels
It was available from the band on tour and from a few selected mail orders. Though not a proper 4AD release the catalogue number CAD 2508 is given in the matrix. A sticker on the cover gives the track names and states: "this vinyl edition of the sunset tree consists of songs recorded at home in north carolina", along with "respect to the flying man, we've got your back".
