The Flying Circus, Prepared In Peace, Orig UK Harvest LP, G/EX, A+B-1 1st Press. Description Original UK Harvest label stereo 1st press LP.

'Prepared In Peace' is the second album from Australian band The Flying Circus, originally recorded in 1970 & released in the UK in Feburary 1971. The band was formed in 1968 and had some success in the Australian charts, but were struggling to gain wider recognition. They signed to EMI/Harvest in 1969 and released their first album, but it was not until the second album in 1970 that they began to gain a wider audience abroad.

This is the original issue, with the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and 1-G 1-G stampers of the first few hundred copies pressed.
The Garrod & Lofthouse matt flipback sleeve is intact & in G condition, unfortunately the edges have been sellotaped, which has torn & left residue marks and has storage rubbing/creasing on the cover. The spine is intact, but partly worn and mostly readable and the plain inner is intact & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with no scratches or nasty marks & only a couple of faint hairlines and light needle marks/scuffs. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on either side. Overall, the record still retains all its original sheen and looks great.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and overall a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; YTX-1203, A-1 mother stamper 1-G, B-1G mother stamper 1-G. This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1971 1st UK stereo pressing of this album.
