ROLLING STONES first lp 1964 SPECIAL HOLLAND edition!   the item Menu

a first pressing of the rare self-titled FIRST lp by the ROLLING STONES as released on Decca 625 384 QL in 1964 in Holland. As you can see in the scan below this cover is slightly different from the British cover! It has a small commercial on the front to publicise the Rolling Stones playing the "Grand Gala Populair", then a once-a-year show on tv where new and settled artists were rewarded. The show was very popular back then and recieved a lot of publicity!

This is a GUARANTEED 100% original first pressing!!

Grading:

the record: vg+ condition (marks but nothing really serious) the cover: vg++ condition All my lp's have been cleaned on a professional VPI record cleaning machine for more and better listening pleasure!

In an attempt to show the best possible pictures of lp's I am putting up for auction I use a large format scanner. This enables me to provide potential buyers with a GREAT view of the item. Unfortunately the scanner can not contain all of the surface of the lp; a small part of about 1,25 cm/0.5 inch is missing!

Due to the unreliability of the speed of standard airmail which has recently left many buyers waiting a long time for their records albums may now ONLY be shipped by priority airmail.

Postage for 1 album inside Europe will be EURO 8 and for 2 albums (or 1 double lp) it'll be EURO 10; outside of Europe for 1 album it'll be EURO 11 and for 2 albums (or 1 double lp) EURO 15. Please contact me in case you need registered mail or insurance.

I will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail if not sent by registerd or insured mail! 


 

I will refund anyone not satisfied with any of my items (minus postage) so you may bid with confidence.

Due to the growing number of winners not following up on their winning bids I have adopted the following policy on payment:
1. After the auction has ended the winner will recieve a notice with instructions on payment etc.
2. I expect the winner to confirm reception of this email within 48 hours
3. After 2-3 days ONE notice will be sent if confirmation has not been recieved
4. Payment is expected within two weeks after the auction has ended.
5. After that ebay will be notified and an Unpaid Item Dispute will be opened.
