"Elvis! His Greatest Hits". Original USA pressing (not a reissue) of 1983 Reader's Digest Records set. This is a 7-record Boxset, a deluxe package, with a superb large 12-page booklet containing lots of info on all the tracks and on Elvis in general. The LPs come in heavy card stock inner covers, lined with plastic. These are housed in a hard cover inner box that slides into a hard cover outer box. The records appear to be unplayed - all look Mint & perfect. I was told the previous owner never played them and I believe it, they for sure look that way. The labels are all perfect as well. In fact when I opened this to check them out, the records were lightly stuck to the inner sleeves from having been in them untouched for the last 20+ years. A couple of the records may need to be cleaned with lighter fluid if you're going to play them because having been stored in the plastic-lined sleeves for so long may have allowed some of the chemicals in the plastics to collect on the record surfaces.
Inner sleeves, booklet, inner box are all Near Mint. The outer box (the yellow one) is VG++ with just light shelfwear. There's also no writing, stamps, sticker, tears etc- ANYWHERE on this item.
So, you get this great set with everything perfect to Like new except the outermost cover, which shows only a minor bit of its age.
THIS IS A VERY HEAVY PACKAGE. Shipping in the USA will include a Media Mail option, but I STRONGLY suggest you use the Priority Mail option. If you want to know more, or want other options wait for my personalized invoice, don't pay immediately. Foreign shipping has been calculated to the best of my ability (you can find the rate to your country elsewhere in this listing). Please note that this rate has been determined with a lot of work and thought, and it IS the rate. No other Foreign options are available. If, after shipping, I find that the package goes cheaper than expected I will refund the excess back to you.
