This is an early UK press of ‘Free’ by Free. This press is on the Pink Rim Island label and is complete with the early A-5U/B-5U matrix and matt EJ Day matt gatefold sleeve.

The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational lightly played bright gloss, with just a couple of very light marks on Side B. The label is exceptionally bright. The white is clean, the text is sharp and has just very slight spindle wear. When played the sound is bold, clear and vibrant, with excellent separation throughout. There are moments of very slight noise but this is insignificant, it is enjoyable throughout.

The Robor Ltd gatefold matt sleeve is in Very Good condition. It is clean and bright and the image is sharp. There is the slightest corner and edge wear. The inside of the gatefold is like new, it is in sensational condition. The rear of the sleeve has some light discolouration and ring wear but is still very bright.  There is a split on the top edge. The spine is firm and the whole sleeve is still very solid.
