Frequently asked questions about postage:

Do you combine postage?  Yes.  I am not a business.  I have decent scales and if someone buys more than one record I pack, weigh and then send the invoice.  If someone buys quite a lot I will take the time to work out the various ways I can combine items to get the lowest postal costs with the correct insurance.

Will you send by standard postage?  No.  I will not post anything unless it has the correct insurance and a signature at point of delivery.   This includes international postage.

There are some light clicks and a little surface noise here and there but it sounds wonderful and plays brilliantly with no jumps or sticking.

2.  Caution ( Do Not Stop On The Tracks)  there are a couple of light clicks about one minute in and a few more further on but stills sounds brilliant


STEREO


THE COVER   is in overall very good +++ condition.  It has a laminated front and the 3 sides folded over and glued back.  So sensible and so much easier to get the record back inside the cover.  There is a tiny amount of wear to the corners and along the opening edge.

The front:   is in very good +++ condition.  There are some laminate wrinkles at the edges but none of the laminate is missing or bubbled.

The spine:  is in excellent condition, not worn, easily legible and not at all squashed.

The back:  very good +++ condition.  It is slightly grubby particularly at the opening edge and there is a patch at the top where my initial sticker has fallen off


THE VINYL: there are sleeve scuffs and surface scratches on both sides but it plays great - no jumps, sticking points or major problems.  It feels heavy compared with other LPs I have played recently.  The labels on both sides have quite a few spindle marks which are noticeable when held against the light and there is an initial sticker on Side 1.  The glue on the back of the sticker has spread so there is a greasy looking patch around the sticker.  The good news is that there are no tears, no writing and no bits missing.

It is still in its original 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' inner sleeve.

POSTAGE:  I do not charge for packing materials, time spent packing or walking/driving to the Post Office!  Ebay are now taking a postage fee of 10% of whatever a seller charges.  (Thanks to all the greedy sellers who were deliberately making money on the postage they were charging buyers.) 

UK:   I send items with a value of up to £50.00 by 2nd class Recorded/Signed For to UK addresses.   I will only post an item if it has the correct amount of insurance. This means that the actual postage could be more than quoted at the top of this listing.  The following prices for posting one LP in a mailer with a cardboard stiffener are from the Royal Mail's website.

Value up to £50 – postage is £3.90 for Second Class Signed For

Value between £50 and £500 – postage is £7.15 for Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1 pm

INTERNATIONAL: I send items by Airsure if it is available, which means that international postage can be very expensive.  I will only post to countries that are listed on the Royal Mail's website as providing a signed for service at point of delivery.
