Super collectible, One-Of-A-Kind "homemade" record inscribed July 28, 1957 (or 1951..hard to tell). Written on other side (see photo) are the names HERB, BRIAN, ULICK, JOHN, FRITZ (or FRIZZ). Test played at 78rpm speed. Upon listening, I assume this could be War Vets or Marine buddies having a good time, since the short recording (less than 2 min) is of a bunch of guys singing a spirited version of the USMC fave "SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON". Make sure your turntable supports this speed; not all do. A great gift for V-O-G , Antique Audio or Military Memorabilia collectors. A great gift for your Grandparent or relative who could have been one of these 5 boys singing and want to retain this as a valuable souvenir! **(V-O-G flyer above IS NOT included). 
Mutoscope's Voice-O-Graph was a recording booth (similar to a photo booth) that enabled folks to record and immediately manufacture an actual 6" vinyl disc which could be played on their record player at home. Customer's would select the playback speed for either 45 or 78 RPM. This machine has gained some popularity recently due to Jack White's (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs) usage of the machine in his Nashville Third-Man Record store and on TV with singer Neil Young.

(very minor wear but should sound great/well cared for) VG+ = "Very Good Plus" (slightly above average, light visible wear) VG = "Very Good" (average, scuffs & shelf wear, still a very enjoyable listen) G = "Good"(scratches; visible marks and wear.
