78 RPM vintage - 5 KP and KPM Music Recorded Library from late 1950s - early 1960s - The Group-Forty Orchestra
I believe these are associated with Sam Fox - a most extensive and comprehensive library with limitless, versatile and flexible offering of music cues to satisfy musical needs for Television, Radio, Film, Theatre and Documentary use." These are similar to transcription records. They were used for background music in many television shows, radio programs, and films. This set is very early - from the 1950s through early 1960s.
Although I have spot played some of these, I am rating them as Visual Inspection. Where I did spot check them I used a Dual 1218 turntable with a 2.7 Shure stylus as these are 78s not microgroove LPs. I spot checked any place where scratches were a concern and each played through with no problems.

My record grading:
I try to avoid records that are simply not an enjoyment to own due to condition or inability to play well. All records are graded using my simple categorization:
Near Mint (M-) nothing is rated mint
Excellent (E+) possibly a flea bite or hair scratch or smudge, super shiny)
(E) scuff or light scratch or two, still super shiny
(E)- slight scuffing or very slight scratches, still shiny)
Good (G+) light scuffs, scrapes or hair crack, shiny still very playable
(G) scuffs, scrapes, light cracking, some shine, still playable
(G-) scuffs, scrapes, cracking, playable, not necessarily enjoyable)
Poor (P-) wall art due to playing condition)
My shipping procedures:
These are fragile artifacts from the last century. Records are sandwiched securely between several pieces of corrugated cardboard of appropriate size, wrapped in bubble-wrap and securely boxed for shipping. I have shipped hundreds of records around the world using this method with no damaged records.
I pack all items carefully for a secure mail delivery. I will gladly combine shipping when possible. Photos are of actual item for sale and are part of the description of that item.
