ELVIS PRESLEY – IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD’S FAIR (LSP-2697) RARE “WHITE TOP” REISSUE!
RECORD: VG+ and strictly graded, showing clean, glossy surfaces! There are some light scuffs that should not have much, if any effect on the audible performance. The labels on this Indianapolis pressing are beautiful, NM! Locating these 1964-68 reissues bearing the “White Top” RCA Victor logo can be quite a challenge as they are one of the most rare and highly sought-after “White Tops” out there! This variety of “It Happened at the World’s Fair” is second only to the ultra-rare Orange Label copies (pressed on rigid vinyl in 1968-69), in regards to scarcity on this title. Curiously, the LPM (Monaural) version of this album was never reissued with the “White Top” labels. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in April of 1963 and includes the million-selling hit single, “One Broken Heart For Sale / They Remind Me Too Much of You”.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape, writing, staple holes or unwanted stickers. There is just some spotted edge wear as well as some very light ring wear. Additional wear is noticed at the corner tips. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) inner sleeve is included.
GOOD LUCK!
