ELVIS PRESLEY - "ELVIS IS BACK!" (LSP-2231) - FIRST PRESSING FROM 1960!

RECORD:  VG+ with  some light paper sleeve scuffs and very light surface scratches that should not result in any distracting surface noise. I test-played "Fever", the softest song on the record and it sounded great, although there was some barely noticeable surface noise and a few very minor, light "ticks". This is everything that just goes with the territory on a record of more than 50 years of age. The labels are very clean and original with just some light spindle marks. The matrix numbers on this Indianapolis pressing are 3S/2S, respectively. This is a clean, original record that any collector would be proud to own.  

COVER:  VG- with the usual lower seam split that is seen on approximately 85% of these covers. This split measures 6 inches. There is also corner & edge wear, a corner bend toward the spine side as well as surface scuffing from contact with other albums over the decades. This is a fully original cover with no tape, writing, graffiti or staple holes; just honest wear. no seam splits! The actual record pocket is within the portion that shows Elvis in his civilian clothing, as is correct for First Pressings. The Yellow Sticker on the front is the earliest version showing "The Girl Next Door". Later stickers add "...Went A' Walking".    

INNER SLEEVE:  The original RCA Victor sleeve depicting a hodgepodge of recently released Easy Listening LP's available at the time". Among all of these Easy Listening LP's, is a real stand out; "A Date With Elvis". Elvis was RCA Victor's ONLY Rock n' Roll artist for a number of years.
