A very very 1st press of the WHITE ALBUM and would have been available for sale in November 1968. Matrix 1/1/1/1. Please note ALL labels exhibit the 'Sold In The UK..' statement and ALL omit 'EMI Recording' and that singles this LP out as a genuine very very 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a top-loading original Garrod & Lofthouse numbered cover..."0106945". Also included is the poster/lyric sheet and both black Apple inner sleeves, but there are no photos. And thankfully it is a real beauty...you won't see many looking and playing this nice.. 
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+/Ex+/Ex+) In stunning condition and has claelry only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - the sought that are so insignificant they really are not going to feature audibly at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, don't underestimate a grading like this...This is not a throw away Ex+...this is proper grading with NO HYPE. A grading at this level is almost impossible to find on an original white album. Take a look at those label shots - this is a very low-mileage copy and it shows. The audio on this early 1st pressing is going to knock everything else into touch. Beautiful tonal balance and incredible transparency. I'm pleased to report that interference is practically non-existent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of spots...i.e very very little at all. Then nothing but pure unadulterated EMI mono of the highest standard. Many tracks on the White Album are very low-key acoustic numbers and even light static can influence the audio. NOT HERE - there's literally nothing there behind the sound. It is simply an absolute wonder when they turn up like this..
Cover (Ex) Wowzers....this really is an unbelievably well preserved copy. Only the very lightest of ageing just apparent at the extremities. It really is a cut above the rest and that is very very unusual. Edge wear is reasonably light and that spine is in nice condition with text still visible, just light ageing. The interior is in lovely condition too and is pretty much faultless. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and it is difficult to imagine going much better.
Lyric/poster (Vg+) Very nice condition with no splits. Do expect some light foxing and ageing at the folds.
Inners (Ex) Both in great shape. Amazingly neither inner has any splits.
