An original 2nd press of Rubber Soul on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 4/4. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In absolutely superbly preserved record and has only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks i.e. very little at all.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with only a couple of creases evident. The rear, which is often the let down area, is in remarkable condition and has almost entirely avoided ageing. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Vg) A bit aged, but no splits or markings.
