An original 1st Stereo press of Help on the UK Parlophone label from 1965. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1G/1P - placing this copy within/around the first 1,000 copies ever produced. Labels are consistent with 1st press "Lark Mus." remains abbreviated and 'I Need You' still has the asterisk on the right separated by a space. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Please note the word 'Stereo' is hollow and not solid black like in later copies. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, this example is 100% complete and 100% genuine. And I think I can safely say is easily the best 1st Stereo copy I've seen....
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen the very lightest use. Under close inspection I can make out a number of ultra-light marks - the sort that will not remotely feature audio wise. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. These stereo copies really need to be particularly clean in order to do them full justice. And this copy doesn't disappoint. The audio has breathtaking transparency. Interference is practically non-existent. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of spots [literally] the whole way through. 'Yesterday' is a benchmark test...and it plays CLEAN..and that is not an easy task particularly on the stereo version. Difficult to imagine going any better than on this copy...it is a BEAUTY.
Cover (Ex+/NM) Just when you think you've seen the best copy along marches another to totally defy belief. Don't think I've ever seen an original Help copy look quite this good..let alone a 1st stereo issue. The front is absolutely perfectly white and it seems without any defect at all...pretty much shiny like a mirror. The rear, which is often the let down, is practically totally free from ageing or marking. It really is a bit of a one-off in my humble opinion. Edge wear is super-light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies nice and flat just like a new cover. 
Emitex (Ex) Almost no ageing and no splits.
