An original 1st press of GYYYO on the UK Decca label from Sep-1970. Matrix 1W/1W. Please note labels are consistent with 1st press - the text 'Get Yer Ya Ya's Out ' is noticeabley larger/bolder. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original uncreditted full laminated front and back cover. Also included is the original Decca blue and white inner sleeve date coded to Aug-1970 [8-70] - one month prior to first release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This is one of the all time classic live albums - give it a spin and you can easily see why. The audio on early well preserved copies is truly outstanding. Interference is practically non-existent. We detected a couple of crackles in the intro to each side and then precious little else. Even 'Love In Vain' which is well known to be particularly fussy plays back super clean. One of the best copies I've had the pleasure to audition.
Cover (Ex+) In great condition and has been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with a couple of tiny creases. The rear has barely a crease on it and perhaps just the lightest signs of ageing at the extremities. It really is a thing of beauty. Edge wear is super light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. What a specimen!!
