An original 1st press of HOTH on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A2/B2 - very 1st possible cut. Please note the labels do not exhibit any perimeter text running into the upper hemisphere and there's no WB logo - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original matt gatefold cover. Also included is the original textured inner sleeve printed in Engalnd by MacNeill. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. On HOTH you really need a clean copy to do 'No QTR' and 'RAIN SONG' proper justice. This is a lovely clean and the audio immediately informs you - 'I am low-mileage'! Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we detected was a few light crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A lovely player and quite frankly a bargain considering the preservation level.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In fantastic condition and it's not easy finding these matt covers looking nice an tidy. This example has clearly been carefully looked after. Lovely clean front with only super-light handling signs. Please note there is some light fade just showing along the extreme spine edge. The rear is equally good to with no creases - just some light handling signs. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is surprisingly light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is pretty much fully intact, but does exhibit a bit of light fade. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Ex-) A couple of light marks. No noticeable ageing. No splits.
