A UK 1st press of ITWOP on the Pink Island label. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy textured E J Day cover. Also included is an original generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of marks either side - one small one which is just feelable detailed below. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of performance with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Audio quality is excellent for the most part and then do expect a few static crackles in the odd place. The only place we deviate from the given grading is the opening plain song/quiet opening 60 seconds. The mark mentioned above does 'tick' at each revolution. As soon as proper audio kicks in - it immediately disappears. Overall a very nice playing 1st press with only that one sub-par moment.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition and has clearly been looked after. Front and back are in lovely condition with only very minor handling. The issue in the interior is a white worn patch at the bottom on the left side off the right panel. Thankfully due to the artwork on the interior it's not as 'stand-out' as you might think. There's a bit of edge wear and some of the text on the spine is obscured - so don't expect to be able to read it. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Bit of ageing. Bottom seam is split and has been taped up.
