An original 1st press of BOTTs on the UK CBS label from 1974. Matrix A2/B2 - 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original maroon coloured cover with the Hamill write-up on the rear [all indicative of very 1st issue]. Also included is the heavy-card catalogue numbered inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side, one sight trail - absolutely nothing heavy, or that would feature in the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. An impressive and assured rendition from start to finish with lovely clean audio. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. If you need a definitive top-level rendition of this DYLAN CLASSIC..congratulations..You Just Found It! This is one of the best copies I've auditioned of this particular title. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean front which is nice and flat without creasing. The rear looks great too with no issues at all. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings are still sharp. There's a few stress creases on the spine, but all text is still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) No issues. No splits. Nice!
