An original 1972 pressing of the debut on the Atlantic label. Matrix A1/B3. Note how none of the perimeter text is observable in the upper half of the label & the Warners logo is absent. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with a generic inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Very accomplished and there's little to complain at here. Expect nothing more than a bit of light back ground in a couple of tracks per side [e.g. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You & YTIGC]. Nothing invasive - just background minor type stuff. Still a very accomplished and appealing rendition.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and without major issue. The front is nice and shiny with a bit of creasing over at the opening. The rear looks good with just a touch of dirt along that extreme top edge. Minimal edge wear. The spine looks great with all text legible and just a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Ageing with some writing. And a 1 inch side split.
