An original 1st press of RnRS on the UK Decca label from 1972. Matrix 1L/1L. Stampers 1M/1BI [1st mother]. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. Also included is an original blue and white Decca inner sleeve dated 1972.
Vinyl (Ex) IN great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Not much to take issue with here - it plays clean throughout. A very nice assured rendition of some classic Stones tracks. You might detect a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots - but by and large this LP delivers a very appealing rendition.
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for and looks better than many specimens. Lovely clean front with only a couple of minuscule thumbnail creases. The rear seems to have avoided much of the usual fading that afflicts these early covers. Very little edge wear at all and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains verygood rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Really nice with minimal signs of ageing. No splits.
