At the time of purchase I was beginning to buy any vinyl by Bowie that I could possibly obtain. I bought this album new in 1977. I recorded the album on to a TDK-SA cassette tape and stored it away in a click-seal plastic sleeve. I did play the album a few times on a Pioneer PL-71 Direct Drive turntable with a Stanton cartridge. I was quite meticulous in how I played and cared for my record albums.
Release details: Idle Mind Productions 1114
Condition of sleeve: Excellent/Mint-. The full colour album sleeve is made of thick cardboard. The rear of the sleeve is plain white as this is the first issue of this album. There are no wrinkles, tears or seam splits. The sleeve is in the same condition as when I obtained it. It looks new.
Condition of the vinyl: Excellent-. Visual inspection. This black vinyl double album looks shiny and glossy however it shows some signs of age and use. There are some slight hair lines, scuff marks and other sighs of use. I think that some of those marks probably date back to its actual production. There are a couple of noticeable hairlines on the first track, Side D. The bright yellow Duck Records labels are clean and immaculate. There are no spindle marks. The record was played a few times. The original paper inner sleeves are clean and crisp.
Tracks: Station To Station / Suffragette City / Fame / Word On A Wing / Stay / Panic In Detroit / Changes / TVC15 / Diamond Dogs / Rebel Rebel / The Jean Genie / Can You Hear Me / Young Americans - Medley.
Packaging and shipping
Please note the details set out in the Packaging & Shipping section of this listing. US customers must pay as per the Worldwide shipping costs set out in the Postage and Shipping section of this listing. I am happy to combine postage and shipping costs if you purchase multiple items. Records will be packaged very well with proper vinyl record mailers and stiffeners. The vinyl will also be carefully packaged outside of the sleeve in order to avoid seam splits and/or further damage to the album sleeve during transit.
Any questions please send me a message.
Please see the other albums by David Bowie that I have listed for sale during this round, including several other releases of this performance at the Nassau Coliseum in 1976. I am also listing an unworn T-Shirt from the 1983 Serious Moonlight Tour and a Bowie Tie.
